Introduction

If you use a char on 1 Dare 2 Defy quest, then you can’t use them anymore on the other fights in this event.

You can’t bring a friend support to these fights. Each quest needs to be Perfected (meaning get the score and all the other mission requirements on the same run) in order to get all the rewards.

The bosses featured on these quests are the same as the ones that have recently shown up in the game.

Dare 2 Defy III Shinryu Quest

Also known as Dare 2 Defy III. This fight has 1 wave with 2 enemies, the Crane Cruels. This quest is the same as the The Power of Tenacity Shinryu one.

Decided to solo this fight with Sice from Final Fantasy Type-0 (#ad). My summon was The Brothers. My Call was Lunafreya Nox Fleuret’s from Final Fantasy XV.

Lunafreya’s regular Call heals the party while her LD Call will give Sice 3 turns in a row.

Have Sice’s 15cp, 35cp, Ex, LD, and FR fully MLB. Her Ex has been Purpled. She doesn’t have her own Burst weapon yet.

Have Sice’s High Armor, and it’s been Realized to 0/3. All of her Summon Boards and her LD Boards have been completed.

She has her Bloom Stone. She has triple perfect Artifacts and triple RF Spheres. She has up to Level 15 of her Force Enhancements.

Sice is boosted for this fight. She’s currently equipped with my Level 5 of 5 Special or Unique-type Ultima Weapon. Sice is a DPS who deals dark elemental damage. She also has traps in her kit.

Sice has an evasion buff. None of the enemies here have attacks that are guaranteed to hit so as long as Sice has her evasion buff up, she’ll be able to avoid any and all of the attacks of the Crane Cruels.

Since Sice only has up to Level 15 of her Force Enhancements, had to wait for a while before my force gauge was fully charged. In the meanwhile, just used Sice’s basic skills while making sure her evasion buff was always active.

Used her Ex ability whenever it was up but avoided using her LD, which would set up her traps, for now.

The force gauge of the enemies hit 100% first. They got to use their force attack and go into their force time but there was no danger at all since Sice was able to avoid all their attacks.

Once my force gauge was finally fully charged, had Sice use Lunafreya’s LD Call. Then I activated her FR and used her LD and her Additional Ability.

The enemies got to move a lot. Every time they moved, Sice’s traps went off and the HP damage bonus of her FR went up.

Ended up basically just watching while the enemies got multiple turns in a row. Their attacks always missed while Sice’s traps went off and dealt lots of damage to them. Whenever Sice got to move, made sure to refresh her traps and evasion buff.

By the time I only have 1 turn of force time left, the HP damage bonus was at 745%. The enemies were down to 48% and 51% HP.

Decided to summon The Brothers already. The on-entry attack of The Brothers took the enemies down to 41% and 43% HP.

image

After my force time ended, was back to waiting until my force gauge charged back up to 100% again. By the time my force gauge was once again fully charged, the enemies were down to 31% and 33% HP. Their force gauge was at 76.0%.

Activated Sice’s FR for the second time. Like before, just made sure to keep Sice’s traps and evasion buff up and active. Then just sat back and watched as the enemies got multiple turns in a row.

image

The HP of the enemies kept on going down as my HP damage bonus went up and Sice’s traps dealt more and more damage.

Soon, the enemies were down to 11% and 13% HP. Have 6 turns of force time left and the HP damage bonus was at 465%.

image

By now Sice was all out of uses of her LD and her second skill. She only has 3 more uses of her first skill left. The enemies were still set to get multiple turns after her so it didn’t really matter that she was running out of skills.

Soon, the HP damage bonus had gone up to 548%. Have 5 turns of force time left. The enemies were now down to 4% HP. They were still moving so Sice’s traps were still going off and dealing lots of damage.

image

By the time the HP damage bonus had gone up to 568%, one of the enemies had been finished off by Sice’s traps.

image

The last enemy had been left with 1% HP. By the time Sice finally got a turn, the HP damage bonus was at 578%. She had more than enough brave to be able to finish off the last enemy, ending the battle on turn 23.

Got the score and all the other mission requirements which also got me the Perfect.

This fight was really easy. Sice did so well. Glad that I was able to solo this quest with Sice even though mine wasn’t fully built at all.
